Withdrawal and refunds
This document says when you get what back. It is not scattered across other documents.
1. Withdrawing without a reason
You may withdraw within 14 days of the contract, without giving any reason.
Fourteen days is the longer of these two:
- Korea, Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — 7 days
- European Union, Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 9 — 14 days
★ We do not give different periods in different places. The screen would have to judge where
you are, and if that judgment is wrong we break the law. So 14 days everywhere.
2. How to withdraw
Two presses.
1. On the billing screen, press "Withdraw from contract here".
2. Check what will be sent (who · which contract · where to reach you) and press
"Confirm withdrawal".
You are withdrawn at once, and we hand the statement straight back to you on screen. You may keep
that page as your copy. The same record is kept on our side.
★ The withdrawal link stays on the billing screen for the whole withdrawal period. You do not
have to hunt for it.
★ We do not ask why. You do not have to write anything.
3. If you are on the free trial
Withdraw during the free trial and nothing is charged. There is nothing to refund.
If you withdraw before the first billing date, we do not call the payment provider at all — we do
not charge and then reverse it. We simply do not charge.
4. If you have already been charged
Within 14 days we refund you. The refund goes back to the method you paid with.
How long the provider takes is not ours to decide — we print the state as the provider reports it.
★ We do not write "refund in progress" and stop there. We write what the provider actually said.
5. When withdrawal can be restricted
Korean e-commerce law allows withdrawal to be restricted once **delivery of digital content has
begun**. Where the content is divisible, the part not yet delivered is excluded from that
restriction.
★ We do not use that restriction. Within 14 days we accept withdrawal regardless of how much
you have used. This is a right we choose not to exercise, so this clause is not against you.
6. What we have not decided
- Payment provider — not connected yet. That is why we do not sell for money right now.
- How many days a refund takes — the provider decides. When it is decided we write it here.
★ We do not write down things we do not know.
7. Contact
Use the address in the support document. You do not need to contact anyone to withdraw — you can
do it on the screen.
8. We tell you before any automatic charge
Before a free trial turns into a paid plan, or a contract renews automatically, we tell you
14 days, 7 days and 1 day in advance. Each notice says when you will be charged, how much,
and how to stop.
Those days come from:
- Korea, Enforcement Decree of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Article 20-2
(in force 2025-02-14) — notice at least 14 days before renewal; consent within 30 days before a
free plan converts to paid
- United States, California Automatic Renewal Law AB 2863 (in force 2025-07-01) — notice between
3 and 21 days before a free trial ends
★ We do not give different notice in different places. You get the same three wherever you are.
★ These days were set by reading published law, not by legal review. If counsel reviews them
we will change this section. We do not claim a review that did not happen.
